    • Kim Whittaker, President

      Kim Whittaker is responsible for setting the company's vision and strategy.  In addition to her role as President, Whittaker is also responsible for sales and marketing.  She helps identify solutions to meet the technical challenges facing enterprise businesses today.  Whittaker has been with First National Technology Solutions since 1996, prior to that, she worked at First National Bank of Omaha and Principal Financial Group.

      Whittaker is a graduate of University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a degree in Marketing and Finance.  She has her MBA from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.

    • Dan Caldwell, Chief Financial Officer and Operating Officer

      Dan Caldwell is the chief financial officer and operating officer of First National Technology Solutions (FNTS), where he is instrumental in the strategic planning and financial oversight of FNTS, as well as the support of all customer touchpoints through the operation support center and service account managers. Dan brings with him more than 20 years of finance, accounting, and general management experience with top Omaha companies, such as Union Pacific Corporation and ConAgra Foods. Prior to his current role, Dan joined the FNTS’ holding company, First National of Nebraska, where he served as vice president of business planning & analysis in 2007. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University and Master of Business Administration, also from Creighton

    • Ralph Wasner, Chief Technology Officer

      With over 30 years in the IT industry, Ralph Wasner is a recognized specializing in redefining processes and technology offerings to better serve customers. His expertise also includes network optimization, data migration, computer operations, systems integrations and regulatory compliance. As the chief technology officer, Ralph is responsible for FNTS’ long-term technology strategy and oversees the company’s architecture, engineering and network divisions.  
       
      Prior to joining FNTS, Ralph served as vice president of technology and operations at HGS, where he worked with several telecom companies to deploy new technologies in order to reduce overhead and improve customer focus. Before that, he was the vice president of IT at FairPoint Communication, Inc., where he built a best of breed IT department and implemented new processes to support acquisitions that grew FairPoint from a $200M company to a $2.6B company overnight.
       
      Ralph holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Heidelberg and is a retired Air Force officer with 11 years active duty and 12 years in the Air National Guard. 

       

    • Chad Zealand, Senior Director of Engineering

      As senior director of engineering, Chad Zealand oversees new technology implementation spanning all FNTS' compute, storage, database, and network infrastructure. Chad provides technical leadership to project design engineering and innovation to develop business opportunities. With 23 years’ experience in the industry, Chad possesses a broad range of experience including leadership, management, operations, design/architecture, and data security. Prior to joining FNTS, Chad spent 15 years supporting various infrastructures including large international telecommunications and securities trading environments. 

    • Robert LaMagna-Reiter, Senior Director of Information Security

      Robert LaMagna-Reiter is the Sr. Director of Information Security, supporting FNTS and its customers by managing information security risks & engineering, overseeing regulatory compliance & IT governance, and enforcing adherence to policies. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems (focus in Information Assurance) and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Robert also possesses various industry certifications including CISSP, CHP, PCIP, and Security+. Robert has 12+ years of information security & risk mitigation expertise and has held positions in the transportation, government communications, and retail/e-commerce industries.

       

    • Michael O’Neil, Director, Operation Center

      Michael first joined the First National family in 1998 as a high school intern for the company assisting with mainframe operations for the Y2k project. After graduating high school, he became one of the first network control operators for FNTS  to run batch processing in the year 2000. After serving 15 years at First National, in roles ranging from help desk, network engineering and capacity planning, he rejoined FNTS in September 2015 as manager of the FNTS Command center.  Today as director of the operation center and with over 17 years of technology experience in the financial industry, Michael has been able to provide a fresh approach and new perspective to operation management.
