    • Kim Whittaker, President

      Kim Whittaker is responsible for setting the company's vision and strategy.  In addition to her role as President, Whittaker is also responsible for sales and marketing.  She helps identify solutions to meet the technical challenges facing enterprise businesses today.  Whittaker has been with First National Technology Solutions since 1996, prior to that, she worked at First National Bank of Omaha and Principal Financial Group.

      Whittaker is a graduate of University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a degree in Marketing and Finance.  She has her MBA from the University of Nebraska – Omaha.

    • Dan Caldwell, Chief Financial Officer and Operating Officer

      Dan Caldwell is the chief financial officer and operating officer of First National Technology Solutions (FNTS), where he is instrumental in the strategic planning and financial oversight of FNTS, as well as the support of all customer touchpoints through the operation support center and service account managers. Dan brings with him more than 20 years of finance, accounting, and general management experience with top Omaha companies, such as Union Pacific Corporation and ConAgra Foods. Prior to his current role, Dan joined the FNTS’ holding company, First National of Nebraska, where he served as vice president of business planning & analysis in 2007. Dan holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Creighton University and Master of Business Administration, also from Creighton

    • Joseph Duryea, Vice President of Sales and Marketing

      Joseph S. Duryea is an experienced global sales and marketing leader with a strong track record of achieving rapid revenue growth, uncovering new markets and spearheading international expansion.  Joe was an early pioneer in international IT Outsourcing (ITO) and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industries.  He and his teams have consistently closed long-term, multi-million dollar client engagements, primarily with Fortune 1000 companies, across EMEA, APAC and the Americas.  His previous career experience includes senior sales and marketing leadership roles at American Express, Softbank and IBM.  From 2004 to 2010 had full revenue responsibility for PeopleSupport (Aegis), one of the largest BPO companies in the world with revenue exceeding $500 million.

      In addition to ITO and BPO experience, Joe has also assisted domestic and international anti-terrorism and law enforcement agencies on covert systems and surveillance applications.  He has worked closely with these agencies on hardware, software, systems and applications deployed on the sharp edge of international anti-terrorism efforts.  

      Joe is an active supporter of Socks for Heroes, which sends socks and other necessary items to US troops in Afghanistan and Iraq.  Small infantry deployments in the field for weeks at a time have limited opportunities to visit laundry facilities and are grateful to have an abundant supply of fresh socks.

      Joe is a graduate of the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. 

    • Robert LaMagna-Reiter, Senior Director of Information Security

      Robert LaMagna-Reiter is the Sr. Director of Information Security, supporting FNTS and its customers by managing information security risks & engineering, overseeing regulatory compliance & IT governance, and enforcing adherence to policies. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems (focus in Information Assurance) and Masters of Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Robert also possesses various industry certifications including CISSP, CHP, PCIP, and Security+. Robert has 12+ years of information security & risk mitigation expertise and has held positions in the transportation, government communications, and retail/e-commerce industries.


    • Michael O’Neil, Director, Operation Center

      Michael first joined the First National family in 1998 as a high school intern for the company assisting with mainframe operations for the Y2k project. After graduating high school, he became one of the first network control operators for FNTS  to run batch processing in the year 2000. After serving 15 years at First National, in roles ranging from help desk, network engineering and capacity planning, he rejoined FNTS in September 2015 as manager of the FNTS Command center.  Today as director of the operation center and with over 17 years of technology experience in the financial industry, Michael has been able to provide a fresh approach and new perspective to operation management.  

    • Larry Long, Director of Engineering

      Larry Long is the Director of Engineering for First National Technology Solutions where he oversees the Engineering Team, a passionate, consultative group focused on developing and maintaining long-term relationships. With more than 20 years of industry experience, he brings reliable automation and technology expertise to a role where he is responsible for the development of each engineer and assists in implementing best practices. Larry also serves as the primary liaison for engineering across all customer organizations at FNTS.  

      Throughout his career, Larry has track record of developing other tech professionals, increasing collaboration cross-functionally and implementing organization. He has led training classes on Linux and general internet-based topics, has a strong background in technical leadership and possesses a wealth of knowledge in infrastructure management, specifically in Linux and Unix environments. Larry will draw from his strong technical experience in his mentorship of engineers on day-to-day operations, communications and in providing technical solutions. Additionally, his expertise in trouble-shooting, developing automation and improving efficiencies for enterprise IT management will be an asset to the FNTS Engineering Team. 

      Larry’s past experience includes operating in a large-scale environment of more than 8,000 Linux systems and 5,000-plus Windows systems in 24/7/365 settings. Before joining FNTS in October 2017, he served in technology operations and systems engineering leadership roles with 3CInteractive and Motorola.
