Patrick Connelly, Executive Director – Technical Sales & Engineering, AT&T
Pat Connelly is an Executive Director in the Technical Sales & Engineering organization in AT&T’s Premier Client Group. In this position, Pat is responsible for overseeing the pre-sales engineering and technical support for AT&T’s portfolio of Network and Application Services.
Technical Sales & Engineering (TS&E) is responsible for working with customers and accounts teams to develop the correct solution fit based upon the customer’s technical and business requirements, using the complete portfolio of AT&T’s services. The TS&E team has engineered and designed literally thousands of the largest and most advanced enterprise networks deployed worldwide.
Pat participates in numerous internal and external forums and groups that are charting the course for the next generation of enterprise networking and IT architectures.
Prior to his current assignment, Pat has held a number of positions in AT&T’s Business Services division in such areas as sales, technical and operations support and product management.
Pat has many years of experience in the telecommunications and IT industry at both AT&T and other firms.
Tom Deutsch, Solution Executive IBM
Tom Deutsch, Solution Executive, IBM
Tom Deutsch serves as Solution Executive on IBM’s ISST Executive Team. Tom is responsible for solutions that cross IBM Software Group, GBS, Research, Cloud and external partners. Prior to this he help start IBM Big Data efforts and was responsible for productizing IBM Hadoop-based technology from IBM. Tom started IBMs BigInsights Hadoop-based product, and has worked with over 300+ customers with Apache Hadoop, Streaming, Cassandra and related big data technologies identifying architectural fit, developing business and organization strategies, and managing early stage projects. Prior to Big Data, Tom worked in the Information Management CTO’s office with a team focused on emerging technology and IBM’s innovative Enterprise Mashups and Cloud offerings. Tom came to IBM through the FileNet acquisition, where he had responsibility for FileNet’s flagship Content Management product and then spearheaded FileNet product initiatives with other IBM software segments including the Lotus and Information Management segments.
Through LinkedIn, Twitter and IBM events, Tom touches over 200,000 data and big data community members weekly. Tom is a columnist for IBM Data Management Magazine, IBM Big Data Hub, and Big Data Bytes pod cast, and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. Tom’s publications include co-authoring The Handbook of Human Computing, Understanding Big Data and Harness the Power of Big Data and a popular Big Data eBook. Tom serves as an Employer Advisory Board member at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, as well as on the Advisory Board for Data Science at California State University, Fullerton.
With more than 20 years experience, and two startups, Tom is an expert on the technical, strategic and business information management and analytics issues facing the Enterprise today. Tom is a frequent key note speaker and is involved with UC Irvine, UCLA, USC, and Cal State Fullerton as academic outreach/mentoring and guess lecturing. Tom has two patents on the use of Big Data technologies in DNA sequencing.

Jacque Istok, CTO, Pivotal
Jacque Istok serves as a key technologist inside of Pivotal (formerly EMC/Greenplum), and has been implementing and advising its customers for almost 6 years. Prior to Pivotal, Inc., Mr. Istok co-founded Professional Innovations, Inc., in 1999 and serves as its President and Chairman. At Professional Innovations, Inc., a leading professional services provider in the business intelligence, data warehousing, and enterprise performance management space, he focused on management, growth and sales initiatives, strategic positioning efforts, and technical implementations. Prior to Professional Innovations, Inc., Mr. Istok implemented a number of large scale, cutting-edge data warehouses in several verticals, including retail, internet, and telecom. Mr. Istok is on the board of several emerging startup companies and serves as a technical advisor to a venture capital investment fund that specializes in local startups in the Northwest. He in an alumnus of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where he studied a dual major of Computer Science and Philosophy.

John Rohde, Director - Business Development, World Wide Technology
John Rohde has over 17 years of experience in the information technology industry. John came to World Wide Technology from IBM, first as a consultant within IBM Global Services, followed by managing the IBM Software Business Partner Program and led the Global Marketing Team for IBM Servers and Storage.
John joined World Wide Technology in 2005 as a Business Development Manager under Bob Olwig, VP of Business Development. Over the last six years, John has led WWT's Vertical Business Development organization, growing and aligning a technology partner ecosystem with WWT's value added services and capabilities along with sales enablement and GTM approach around the organization's industry initiatives across Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Utilities, Manufacturing Oil&Gas, and SLED. In addition to leading the Vertical Business Development team, John’s Director role encompasses WWT’s Internet of Things (IoT) business strategy, partner ecosystem and solution development.
