FNTS President Kim Whittaker is a passionate leader with extensive knowledge in identifying trends, strategic solutions and new technologies that meet technical needs facing organizations today. She has served FNTS since 1996 and was named President of the company in 2017. Kim is instrumental in developing strategies for emerging technology, IT trends, enhanced security capabilities and customized managed service solutions. Kim cares deeply about the customer experience and long-term relationships. She ensures that FNTS provides high-level service and products to clients who rely on responsive, redundant and reliable solutions.
Before joining FNTS, Kim held positions at First National Bank of Omaha and Principal Financial Group. Kim has a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from the University of Nebraska. Kim’s career was spotlighted in Nebraska Quarterly, a Nebraska Alumni Association publication.
As the first female President of FNTS, she leads FNTS’ Women in Technology initiative, inspiring youth to consider future careers in technology. As a member of the AIM Institute not-for-profit board, Kim is invested in growing the tech talent pipeline and increasing diversity in the technology industry.
Kim is a Husker fan and once played on the University of Nebraska’s golf team. In addition to rooting for the Huskers and playing golf, Kim enjoys spending time with her family.
Ken Marr, FNTS Chief Technology Officer (CTO), is a strategic and innovative leader who assists in developing long-term technology strategies to ensure FNTS remains steps ahead of technical change in the marketplace, continuing its long-standing history of providing tailored IT solutions to clients worldwide. While embracing the growing sophistication of technology, Ken works to ensure maximized results for organizations of all sizes through FNTS’ scalable, secure and custom-built IT solutions.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Ken has vast knowledge of IT operations, software engineering, data management and digital transformation initiatives, including the creation of an entire technical ecosystem and many software products, as well as advanced technology platforms.
Originally from Juniata, Nebraska, Ken graduated from Hastings College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Human Resource Management.
Ken enjoys spending time with his wife and three daughters, traveling, hunting, fishing, boating and scuba diving.
As FNTS Field Chief Technology Officer, Chris Williamson assists in developing strategic partnerships and long-term digital transformation initiatives with clients. Chris has extensive knowledge of service offerings and partner-driven solutions to provide organizations with a deep understanding of FNTS’ capabilities and technical solutions to meet overall growth strategies.
Chris also leads the development of next-generation capabilities and services that simplify IT operations, enhance cost savings, modernize applications and shorten delivery times.
Chris has more than 25 years of experience with leading IT infrastructure, application development and service delivery teams in business environments, ranging from startups to Fortune 500 companies.
One of his career achievements has been co-founding and leading the technology team at Sirius Satellite Radio (now SiriusXM) during its development and growth stages.
Chris became familiar with FNTS in 2007 as Chief Information Officer (CIO) of Bruno’s Supermarkets LLC, where he was responsible for all aspects of technology strategy and operations. During a critical divestiture program, Chris engaged FNTS to provide hosting and managed services that successfully drove Bruno’s digital transformation.
Since 2012, Chris has provided CIO advisory services through Mainline Information Systems Inc., serving clients across a range of industries and frequently serving as an interim CIO and CTO. Chris also has held IT leadership positions at retailer L Brands Inc. (Victoria’s Secret, Bath & Body Works) and global media giant EMI Group PLC (Capitol Records, Virgin Records).
Chris holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Western New England University. He also holds certifications as an Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Practitioner, an International Enterprise Architecture Institute (iEAi) Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) and a Six Sigma Black Belt.
Chris remains active in his community, serving as a Troop Chair with the Boy Scouts of the Greater Alabama Council, in addition to providing counsel to startups through the Venture Mentoring Network at Northeastern University.



Dan Chicoine is the Vice President of Marketing for FNTS. He is responsible for all aspects of FNTS’ marketing efforts including; planning and strategy, brand, research and insights, and customer advocacy. In addition, Dan oversees FNTS’ strategic partnership programs with organizations such as; Microsoft, VM Ware and Dell EMC. He joined FNTS in 2019 as Director of Marketing and was named to his current position in July of 2020.
With a strong emphasis in marketing strategy and planning for over 20 plus years, Dan has held marketing roles with a wide-range of organizations from start-ups to Fortune 500. Early in Dan’s career, he co-founded Omaha Entrepreneurs (a local non-profit that helps entrepreneurs connect and network with investors and service providers) that eventually merged with another non-profit, Midlands Venture Forum, where he volunteered and served on the board of directors.
Dan is an avid sports fan (SKOL VIKES) and enjoys going to concerts, working out, spending time at the lake, and always working/struggling to improve his golf game. Originally from South Dakota, he attended the University of South Dakota before moving to Omaha, Neb. after college where Dan still calls home today.
As Senior Director of Information Security, Don Pecha executes highly effective and balanced information security programs for clients that securely enable business across their technology landscape. He also ensures regulatory compliance, risk mitigation and high-level performance when implementing these programs.
A Certified CISO and Certified Ethical Hacker, Don has a deep understanding of threat defense, which has guided his 25-year career in overseeing the security strategy and IT governance of many highly regulated health care, finance and higher education enterprises.
Prior to FNTS, Don served as CISO for Insite Data Services, where he led security operations for two major data centers that provided banking solutions to 120 Midwest communities. As Information Security Manager at PayPal, Don led a team of security professionals that secured PayPal’s business units. At Moody’s Analytics, he was integral in protecting and securing bank applications.
Don takes a consultative approach to each client opportunity. Whether he develops unique security architecture that accommodates specific business needs, provides guidance on audits, governance and risk alignment or shares tools and efficiencies to improve an organization’s security posture, Don is a strategic advisor.
A well-rounded security leader with proven business, security, architecture and operational knowledge, Don will enable continuous security maturity at FNTS. He shares FNTS’ unified approach that security must be infused into all facets of an organization to ensure security operations perform at the highest level possible.
Don studied Computer and Information Systems Security at Bellevue University and has derived much of his knowledge from his technical and leadership roles.
Don is active in his community and enjoys the outdoors. In addition to being an avid hiker, certified sailor and member of the Ski Patrol, he has been involved with Boy Scouts of America and Trail Life USA, where he recently created a new troop in Lincoln, Nebraska.
As Vice President of Sales, Jim Nicholas leads the long-term sales and business development vision at FNTS to drive revenue, margin and market share expansion in a dynamic and transformative workplace. He is passionate about identifying, implementing and expanding go-to-market technology solutions that enable clients to strategically solve business challenges and enhance the customer experience. Jim is committed to developing lasting relationships with clients that have evolved from FNTS being a trusted partner and extension of their internal teams.
Jim has more than 28 years of expertise in supporting organizational systems across a variety of business industries. His experience has provided him with a broader understanding of technological capabilities and business processes needed to craft successful technology solutions that expedite digital transformation and exceed expectations.
Before joining FNTS, Jim held a variety of leadership roles with IBM, including those in management consulting, client sales, financial services, hardware systems and people management. During his 28-year career at IBM, he worked closely with FNTS on numerous projects and client engagements. Jim has experienced firsthand the capabilities and customer service that FNTS has provided to clients. FNTS’ longstanding partnership with IBM is what inspired him to continue his career at FNTS, and he looks forward to collaborating with the FNTS team to deliver differentiated client experiences through creative problem solving and efficient solutions that utilize automation.
Jim received a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Hawaii in Honolulu. He also has completed the IBM Client Executive Certification Program, an executive education program within the Harvard Business School. This program shaped his view on how technology usage can support diverse organizational objectives that lead to desired outcomes.
Jim enjoys being active in his community by participating in various environmental projects, which include native prairie restoration and river cleanup efforts. In addition to spending time with his family, he is pursuing a marathon challenge in all 50 states.
